Greetings Nevada School Counselors!

Make plans to attend the NvSCA 2020 Spring Conference: School Counselors Focusing on Student Success –  March 6-7, 2020. The conference is being held for the first time at the Peppermill Resort Spa Casino in Reno. Join us for some high quality professional development opportunities, updates on the School Counseling profession, and great networking!

Calling all Presenters!!! The Nevada School Counselor Association is soliciting proposals for presentations promoting evidence-based programs for the domains listed on “Call for Presenters” info and application page. Presentations showcase best practices, current research or skills to counselors and student services professionals, pre-K to postsecondary, as well as district personnel, graduate students and counselor educators.! Preference is given to sessions that relate directly to the work of school counselors. Please click here to find out more: Call for Presenters. Presenters will be offered a discounted rate to attend the conference!

You can register for the conference now! Follow this link to the Registration section on the 2020 Conference webpage!

Also, the online room reservation block at the Peppermill Resort is open, so please move quickly to reserve a room if you’re planning to attend the conference and will need one!
